ACTIA Energy is recruiting a Control & Automation Design Engineer (M/F) for its site located in the municipality of Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade (13).

ACTIA ENERGY, located in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade and employing more than 150 people, builds on over 40 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and deployment of innovative solutions dedicated to energy management and distribution. Working closely with its customers and at the heart of numerous applications, ACTIA Energy plays a key role in supporting the development of Smart Grids. The company operates at all levels of the energy measurement and control pyramid to accelerate decarbonization and the energy transition.
You will be responsible for customizing ACTIA control & automation electrical connection studies with a continuous improvement approach focused on Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
Main activities:
Participate in study kick-off meetings.
- Analyze customer input data.
- Design execution studies in compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Participate in the presentation of study documentation to customers alongside project managers.
- Capitalize on feedback from previous studies and implement action plans.
- Ensure the quality of deliverable documents sent to third parties (construction site, customer).
- Review documents returned from construction sites, complete them if necessary, and update them.
- Independently identify customer site-specific requirements.
- Interact directly with customers.
- Provide technical support.
The results of this work enable the customization and integration of ACTIA equipment at customer sites.
Interfaces / Working relationships:
- Internal: Industrial engineering department, project managers, installation teams, deployment teams, quality, purchasing.
- External: Customers, suppliers.
- Nature of relationships: Collaborate with project managers and provide technical expertise to all stakeholders.
Autonomy / Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with applicable processes.
- Proactively contribute to improving study quality.
- Conduct progress reviews with project managers.
- Alert management in case of difficulties.
Quality / Performance / Continuous Improvement:
- Identify risks and ensure they are properly addressed; implement necessary action plans.
- Work in compliance with internal processes and procedures as part of a continuous improvement approach.
- Alert management in case of anomalies, doubts, or risks.
Education and/or experience:
Required knowledge:
- Electrical engineering and connectivity.
- Ability to read industrial schematics.
Required profile and experience:
- Preferred: 2-year degree (Bac +2) in electrical engineering; 5 years of experience preferred.
